is to keep it intimate and bespoke in order to have the chance to connect with each other.👩🏾🤝👩🏽👭👬❤️ When I had my family staying with us in summer 2024 for three weeks it made me think a lot
about community. We all know that community is needed for our emotional and physical health. But in our highly individualistic society, it often isn't that easy to make living in community work.
And not only work, but even enjoyable. It is a fine balance between listening to one's own needs and respecting the needs of others. Frustration and joy.
My proposal for all my events is nature, community and presence (aka phones off).
This proposal is for everyone who loves gardening and growing food and is interested in the political and ecological consequences of permaculture. 🌻
On the weekend 7th/8th December (you can also join for only one day) I offer an immersion into permaculture principles and food growing at The Happy Fig.
When: Next date is the weekend of 22nd/23rd March 2025 (two days/one night)
You will receive:
🥑 Content varies depending on the participants. Introduction to basic or more in-depth permaculture principles and learn about growing vegetables, fruits and herbs. Water usage (grey water, rain
water...) Mulching, recycling of all materials in the garden, building wooden constructions... We will do many different things.

💕 One relaxing yoga class Saturday evening to stretch out your tired gardening muscles. 😀
In return for:
Working 3 to 4 hours each day with me in the garden, applying and practising your new skills.

When: 2nd to 4th May 2025 (3 days/2 nights), starting at 11am on the 2nd and finishing early evening of the 4th.
Accommodation: Accommodation in our various rooms, yurt and tents. Community style. We have a shared indoor and outdoor bathroom.
Food: Vegetarian, ecological, home cooked, healthy, fresh food (partly from our garden)
Price: 195€
Depending on the number of people signed up, there might be the option to only participate for one or two days at the beginning. But I recommend coming for all three days, as we will gradually go deeper with our activities.
The program could look like that, but is not written in stone:
First day
- Arrival between 10 and 11am
- 11 - 13h yoga, meditation, pranayama
- Afterwards brunch
- 15h silent beach walk, an optional dip in the water
- tea and snack at the beach
- sound healing/or shamanic journey in the yurt
- dinner
- a surprise activity in the evening
Second day
9 - 10:30am yoga or another movement practice
11am breakfast
Walk to nearby waterfall
3pm lunch
4:30 - 7pm a ritual
8pm dinner
Last day
- 9am - 9:45:meditation, pranayama, voice
- 10 - 11am fitness fun workout in the garden
- brunch
- time to chill, or get a permaculture garden tour
- 14h forest walk with some mindful activities, tea and snacks in the forest
- closing circle
- 18h early dinner
